Thys & Corien Beyers
Before even starting to build their network marketing organisation, Thys & Corien started off their married life together - he as a student in Mechanical Engineering and Corien as a PA... As Corien puts it: “to help pay the bills.”
Both joined the Beyers family business after Thys had finished his studies and moved back to their home town Vryheid in KwaZulu-Natal. After a holiday trip to the Cape in 1997 they realized one thing: “We knew the lifestyle and the time we wanted will never be realized working a 40 year plan” says Corien. “We both resented going back after the holiday time was over. Most of the time it required a 6 day work week from my husband and there was no time for us to be the parents we wanted to be and for us as a couple to be and do the things together that we loved.”
They moved to the Strand, Western Cape in the year 2000, starting their own business, thinking it would be a better option.
In the first weeks of business they were prospected (the only time ever) for a network marketing opportunity and met Louis & Leoné van der Linde for the first time.
Thys said: ”I knew this opportunity was our answer to live the life we were meant to live. To do what we wanted, when we wanted and for as long as we wanted. To live our dreams! ... We started our network marketing business part time. Life happened in between and we only seriously started building our business in 2013.”
“It’s been a great journey for us! Because of the success principles we are being taught in this system, we saw our children developing
into great human beings. It also gave them the option to start building their own Mannatech businesses if they wanted to. As young adults they are now part of our team. We are so grateful that we are building this business as a family. My wife and I have been married for 26 years now and our relationship is awesome!” says Thys.
“We were able to build our business to give us residual income and with that came financial freedom. In the process we are impacting many lives and are helping others to be free and to realize that their dreams can come true too!” says Corien
"There is still much to be done in South Africa and Internationally."
"We are only getting started!"
