Lionel and Anna met through a network marketing business. It was a world conference of that other company in Los Angeles and on the last day there was a dream building session. When it was Lionel's turn to speak, he said: " I've lived an eventful and successful life and now my dream and focus is to help as many people as possible to accomplish their dreams".

His whole life was based on this philosophy - when he was a captain of a proto team, saving miners in underground fires for 10 years, when he was Johannesburg city counselor and was instrumental in multiple projects uplifting communities, when he had an engineering company and used to give an advantage to disabled people applying for jobs. When he retired from his conventional business, he kept on giving free services for tenants in body corporates. His whole life was serving others, empowering, and uplifting. Connecting to people was his lifestyle and passion.

"I have never seen a more passionate networker in my life", says Anna.

She was born in Russia and was working there as a translator in a patent office and as an English teacher. With her first husband and son they moved to Israel in 1991 where, in 17 years, life tested her in many fields: cleaning houses while learning Hebrew, selling insurance policies, giving private lessons, working for medical aid. That is when she started studying natural health and was introduced to network marketing.

When they married and Anna moved to South Africa, they started looking for an extra income. Something with unique product, flexible hours, uncapped income, with solid system in place and, of course, overseas travel.

"Mannatech ticked all these boxes and even more", says Anna.

What started out as a part time income sharing incredible testimonies of the healing power of Mannatech’s nutrition, developed into a growing international business within 9 years.

"Mannatech’s business allowed us to spend time together while building the business, traveling on incentive trips to the most exotic places in the world like Singapore and Mauritius. It gave Lionel the extra few years of life when there was no hope medically.

It allowed us 2 years to rely on passive income from Mannatech when Lionel fell very ill and could not even walk for months until he got better. It gave us hope and freedom of choice. It has given me a new family of loving friends in South Africa and a meaningful life, " says Anna.
