On leaving School and being exempt from doing Military training, I immediately started my working career being employed by a well-known Steel Wire Rope Company, as a Trainee Metallurgist, while at the same time, studied for a Metallurgical Diploma part time. After working for this Company for 8 years, I then decided to make a career change as my ambition was always to be involved in the world of Selling and to eventually move into Sales Management and beyond. I then joined a large Chemical Organisation as a Sales Representative, selling very specialised mining chemicals to the Extraction sector within the Mining industry. I continued selling to the mines for many years but representing 3 different companies but being involved in different product lines.

After being employed and reporting to a boss for so many years, I then decided that it was time for a new challenge, and therefore to become self-employed and start my own business. However, I realised that to minimise start-up costs, and because of my sales background, the best way was to approach several Companies and offer to become their Agent and thereby earning commissionable incomes. I was extremely fortunate to have been offered 2-3 very good agencies with product lines that I was very familiar with. And the biggest factor was having virtually no overhead costs as I operated from home.

Well it was during all these years, in fact way back in 1997 that I was first introduced to NWM through a cousin of mine, involving me with the largest Direct Selling Company in the world today. I was a total failure and made a total income of R1500 in the 3 years that I was with them. However, there were some real positives that I got from the time that I was involved with them. Firstly, you had to have a Dream, secondly, they also had a Tool system enhancing Personal Growth and thirdly through this business you could eventually experience Financial freedom. So, after 3yrs with this company I obviously continued to focus on my business career, but with the intention of searching for other NWM companies which would ultimately bring me financial freedom which I so badly wanted.

It is amazing that once you have been involved with NWM, somehow your name becomes known, and suddenly the phone calls started to come in from people who wanted me to join their NWM organisation. So, because of my dream of becoming financially free, I was an easy catch for anybody who approached me, and therefore registered with their company right there and then. Despite having been involved with the first NWM company and gaining lots of experience, and then getting involved with at least another 6 NWM companies along the way, I was a complete failure with all of them. I then decided it was time for a sabbatical and to therefore have a total break from NWM and just focus on my business career. And it was at this time of my life in April 2007 and having sold my business and thus becoming an employee again, that I was introduced to Mannatech.

The person who Enrolled me in Mannatech, said to me upfront, that he would fully understand if I did not sign up, as I believed that I was a total failure in everything I tried. He then said one thing to me that has always remained in my mind. He made a statement that Mannatech would become the Golden Egg of NWM. And how right he was. After 21 months, I qualified as a Presidential Director and then 4 months later resigned in 2009 and have not been employed since then. A few years later he and his family eventually jumped ship to another NWM Company and obviously wanted me to move with them. I immediately declined, because I knew that Mannatech was no doubt the NWM company of the future, with it’s amazing technology and a company with immense integrity, and of course being led by our amazing 2*Platinum Presidentials, Louis and Leone is just the icing on the cake.

Mannatech has been life changing for me, giving me financial freedom that I have always dreamt of having and with our amazing Tool System, personal growth has been a huge plus. In these new times that we are living in, I sincerely believe that we in Mannatech have the perfect opportunity to help many many people around the world to have happy, healthy and wealthy futures.
